Option 1:

The area covered: Bhaktapur and Chau-Narayan.

Bhaktapur, meaning the city of devotees was founded by King Ananda Dev in 1197 AD, listed UNESCO World Heritage site, locally known as Bhadgaon. In the Durbar square has many monuments including Pagodas, Shikara style monuments, courtyards, and Buddhist Shrines, Hindus Temples and Monasteries.

Chgagunarayan, the temple of Lord Vishnu, is situated on the beautiful hilltop that provides amazing views of Kathmandu valley. The temple is full of magnificent artworks in metal and wood.

Option 2:

Patan, the city art and beauty and Khokana, 5 hours, cost starting from the US $ 85.

The area covered: Patan Durbar square and Khokana valley.

Patan also was known as Lalitpur means the city of arts and beauty. It is situated across the Bagmati River, 5 km south of Kathmandu city center. It was founded in 3rd century AD by King Vera Dev. Most of the monuments in this square date back to the medieval Malla period from 16th to the 18th century,

Khokana is a beautiful traditional Newari town. Explore the Temple of Karyabinayak and Red Mahindra Ninth, traditional lifestyle of countryside people and agriculture terrace.

Option 3:

Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa- 4 hours, cost starting from US $ 35.

Tour starts Everyday 1.30PM from in front of the Himalayan Bank, Tridevi Marg, Thamel.

The area covered: Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, and Kopan Monastery.

Pashupatinath literally means" Lord of Animals" and famous Shrines for Hindus devotees. Two storied golden-roofed pagoda style Temple has four silver doors, en-route visit Boudhanath, the largest Stupa in South Asia. In the surrounding area can experience lifestyles of Tibetan People and monks, and then drive to Kopan Monastery.

Kathmandu Durbar-square and Swyambhu Ninth- 4 hours, cost starting from US $ 95.

The area covered: Kathmandu Durbar square and Swayambhunanth.

Kathmandu Durbar-Square, situated in the heart of the Kathmandu city, it is also called Hanuman –Dhoka- an ancient residence of King. This entire Royal Palace complex is full of historical monuments, Stone statue of Hanuman and next to the Golden Gate of the Palace, the powerful Protector of the entire Durbar-Square. Visit Taleju Temple, the tallest temples of Powerful Goddess, Lord Krishna Temple which was built in 1649 AD by Kind Pratap Malla on the memory of his favorite two dead Queens, Jagannath Temple, and a famous for erotic arts. Visit the huge stone statue of Kalbhairab, a ferocious form of Lord Shiva, Living Goddess Temple, and Kasthamandap which built on 12th century by the wood of the single tree, hence Kathmandu obtains its name from this historic building.

Then drive to Swayambhu Nath Stupa, situated on a hillock, it provides incredible Views of Kathmandu valley and Himalayan ranges. The tradition in the Stupa follows the Vajrayana form of Buddhism which is a tantric variation of the Mahayana Buddhism (the great vehicle).

The area covered: Daskhinkali, Shesh Narayan and Chobar Gorge.

The temple of Dakshinkali is dedicated to the ferocious mother goddess who has much energy and power. It is said that she gives strong willpower and energy to those who come to her and she loves sacrifices. The Temple is tantric in nature and is a favorite worship place of the Hindus. The temple of Sesh Naryarayan represents one of the four Narayan of the Kathmandu valley. The other three Narayan's are Changu Narayan, Visankhu Narayan, and Nanchang Narayan. Chobhar is a famous place for its gorge from which the waters of the Kathmandu valley drain to the south.
